With a better historic understanding of the causes and effects of our behavior towards others, hopefully we can make the choices which affect each other more positively.
Our museum hopes to provide the public a larger knowledge base. By presenting items of historic relevance, the museum will attempt to tell an evidenced based version of human history from an Asian perspective. Introducing an Asian perspective will not only afford the public an unique opportunity to analyze data through a new lens, it will hopefully reduce false assumptions about people, and things, one might be less familiar with.
Falsehoods hurt us all, inhibiting us from moving forward together in a constructive way. This museum hopes to provide a basis for better mutual understanding between peoples, by not just sharing the history of Asia, but by demonstrating how the human heritage experiences from Asia are inextricably linked to the human heritage experiences in the rest of the world.
