Theater
Whether from Asia or any where else in the world, people enjoy entertainment. Before the age of electronics, people had to leave their homes and go to theaters, or other designated areas, to watch shows. Below left is an example of an open air theater in Qing Dynasty Weihaiwei, now known as 威海 Wēihǎi in Shandong, China. Below right is an example of a Shakespeare in the Park event in modern day New York City's Central Park. Do the spirits of the two sets of audience look different, or similar?
Below is a close-up of the Qing Dynasty stage from the photo above. It seems that everyone enjoys a good story.
